I got a surprise today just before I knock off from work. TTSH actually has this Corporate Individual Scheme (CIS) for mobile phones by M1!! They're going to have a roadshow at our Staff Lounge on 5th & 6th April! I can't wait! This is awesomeeee cuz my contract with Starhub is ending next week on April 4th!! N the roadshow's starting on 5th April! WoW talk abt perfect timing! hehehe...

But she says that the HR department wud have a copy of it. Perhaps tomorrow I shall get it from them and think it over the weekend with dear. I can sign up for 3 corporate lines!!! hehehe Dun know can psycho dear anot, but juz now he mention that he like dun wan lei.. Oh yah.. My brother's going back to Jakarta tomorrow lei... So sudden that I was quite surprised. My mom did ask me thru msn but I didn't think that my brother is serious. He called me in the afternoon and told me that he wud be flying to Jakarta tomorrow night till Tuesday night. He haven't gotten the ticket yet though... He told me that he's going there to attend a friend's wedding dinner. hmMMmm.... Newayz, i told dear and told him that he can camp at my place for the days that my brother is out of town hehehehe =P

Yah! I signed up for gym at TTSH too juz now. Super cheap lei!! $40 for the whole year!!! hahahhaa... Another "very the wellfare" <-- quoted from dear *lol* It's very near my workplace, just 2 floors up kekeke.. I can just go to the gym at lunch time even =P Then I booked badminton court for 2 hrs on Sunday to play with dear and another 2 hrs for Tuesday night to play with my colleagues. Suddenly got the urge to play badminton again hehehe... The rate for booking the courts are very cheap too! before 5pm is $1 an hour and after 5pm the rate is $2 an hour. hehehe No such thing as peak or off peak rates yayyyyyyyy hehehe But I heard that the booking for the courts are really difficult cuz they're always fully booked. Hmm dunno why I so lucky today *lol* Perhaps cuz the new month is coming and ppl haven't started booking yet hehehehe..... Can't wait for Sunday to play with dear! =) Did I tell u before that I juz loveeeeeee guys who play sports, esp if they're good in it *lol* another of my fetish hahahahahha.... sHHhhh secret =P

CAP Accreditation Day

Yepz, today is my lab's CAP Accreditation day. CAP stands for "College of American Pathologists". The goal of the CAP Laboratory Accreditation Program is to improve the quality of clinical laboratory services through voluntary participation, professional peer review, education, and compliance with established performance standards. Upon successful completion of the inspection process, the laboratory is awarded CAP accreditation and becomes part of an exclusive group of more than 6,000 laboratories worldwide that have met the highest standards of excellence.

So at the end of the day, if your lab is CAP accredited, this ensures the public that your lab has utmost confidence in meeting the highest standards of practice which includes high quality patient care.

That put a lot of pressure on the supervisors as well as the head of the departments cuz if we fail this CAP whew....... there's going to be hell for sure! Anyway, I managed to 'siam' the auditors cuz they juz love to ask questions, especially to the newbies hehe... I think we did pretty good today, but there will be unannounced spot-checks by them again in the near future, I hope then we are still ready for them =)

Oh yah, LV sales person called me yesterday saying that there is a new collection that has just arrived and asked me when I can come down to their shop at Taka to take a look. Hmm frankly speaking, I am surprised to receive their call cuz it's the first time ever that they called. The very first LV item that I bought there is this pi leather wallet for my ex-bf. Kind of too lavish huh? But I tink its quite the appropriate gift since he also gave me an exact wallet for my last birthday that time. I asked Fai to come along with me and see see this weekend. I dun tink I will buy anything though cuz the prices there are too ridiculous... well if u equate the prices to quality, then LVs are worth buying cuz my wallet that I got from almost 4 yrs ago is still brand new looking and I still use it everyday..... unless of course that 'someone' buys me a new wallet *hint hint* hehehehhehehehehe

I wasted a lot of time juz now. Went to Orchard Popular to look for compatible ink catridges for my printer but Popular only has original one... sucky!! There's no way I'm going to buy an original ink catridges when I can have the same quality print-outs from a compatible one. =P And I was there to meet a buyer for the Maybelline pressed powder which I sold thru Yahoo! Auctions. While waiting for her, I bought sumthing for dearie hehehe I hope he likes it... Then after I closed the deal with the buyer, I decided to head down to Mustafa Centre to hunt for my ink catridge.. hmm Kind of hesitated to go there alone, but I need to buy the ink loh... So juz braved myself and head there. 30 min there was fruitless.......... cuz........ they only have oRiGiNaLs as well...........~~ arrhhhhhhhhhhhhhh waste my time *sobs* Mebbe tomorrow I shall head down straight to funan then... but kind of sian.... so far....... *frown* I guess that's the plan for now unless something better comes up...

yepz, got that right. Well it came thru as a pretty innocent question. Tess asked me whether or not I have a bf. I told her yepz hehe.. Then she asked whether he's in Sg. I replied yepz again n smiled =)

Then she told me that she's got a bachelor son who's like 30 yrs old working in California. He's has an American Citizenship now but still swinging single and as what mothers usually do, they wud of course try to get a nice girl for their sons... He's also loaded from what I heard from her, cuz he's like the head of this IT company in the States. Hmm hehe sounds pretty successful to mi. She had asked another girl before at our work place but that girl has already ROM last year. The other girl that she likes n find rather suitable for her son is......... me *lol* awwwww I'm sooooo touched =P She asked me if I know of any girl that she could intro to her son. Heee... Anione interested? =D

I sms-ed dear at lunch telling him that someone's trying to match make me at work and told him the details. Guess what he replied... He told me, I quote: "Sounds good haha" I replied, "Wah.. offer ur own gf? Haven die before arh? =P" hehe I actually predicted what he wud reply hahaha Seems like I'm getting to know him further to the next level =)

Works pretty much the same. The thing that I dun get is that why sometimes I get caught up in something which I'm not involved in?? Is it I care too much?? Like the other day someone actually labelled a specimen from the Emergency Department wrongly!! I was at my break that time when it occured and that person didn't leave his/her initial at the labelling record book where our liability wud be accounted for if say we label specimens wrongly. And so happens that I come back that they found the mistake and all of the sudden I have the wrongly labelled specimen plus the order form and results on my hand. I was like............... huh? I wasn't even the one who did it loh? I dun wan to push the blame or anything but wah... I'm like still new there loh, cannot even certify results yet, how u expect me to settle this loh? Sebastian was not in the area and like almost everyone avoiding me cuz dun wan anything to do with the wrongly labelled specimen. Makes me thing that they think I was the one who did it loh... I felt really sucky then... wa lao....... why why why must I be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Stewpid........ Next time I'll be more clever n siam! If like this my reputation in the lab wud go down in the drain siah.....

Juz now we had a mask fitting session where they taught us how to wear the N95 mask from 3M juz in case there's SARS breakout again in SG. If that occurs, we are required to wear this mask when we work. So we put on the mask and they spray this solution that tastes bitter. So if we didn't put our masks properly, the solutions aerosols wud enter into our mouth and we wud taste the bitterness. That mask fitting session took like 2 hours hahaha... waste time, can go home faster! =P Cuz after the session, i only have to work for another hour then knock off liao woh! =)

I walked to work this morning and juz now I walked back home! hehehe Dear encouraged me to walk to work, even told me to wear angle and wrist weights when I walk. Siao! Later I become the next Jojo Sinclair =P hehehe

A Less DorKieR mi

okie, saved myself from further embarrassment from the last haircut. I went to Kimage PS on Friday noon n got my hair cut by Ricky. I suppose this is the very first time I got my hair cut this short. Usually my shortest is like shoulder lenght like that, but this one is well a lil on the daring side (for my case that is). It's not totally that short la, but a lil too short for mi. Overall, I think it's quite ok compared to the other haircut which is like hell.

The hairstylist asked mi how old I was and hmm I dunno what got into mi, I felt like cutting short a few years of my true age *lol* So I told him that I was twenty........................two. wahahahaha n I paused waiting for that same old reply I got from practically everybody. True enuff, he said that I look much younger than that. I felt like rolling on the floor laughing.. geez I dun need to lie abt my age to look younger afterall =P bleah..

But in the end, I did something that's realllyyyyyyyyyyyyy embarrassing!! Gosh... I called my own bluff!!! aRghhhhhhh........ Cuz i decided to apply for the Kimage VIP card and when I was filling up the application form, the hairstylist is still there. There's this fill in the blanks lines for my IC and if that doesn't give me away, I still had to fill up my DATE OF BIRTH!! That's it, if he didn't get it, he's either very very slowwwwwww or not paying attention. Either which I dun really want to know, I sort of avoided any eye contacts with him wahahhaa... Paid the cashier and smiled at my hairstylist briefly and zoOOmmmm~~~ zaO LiAo!!! hehehehehe

Then I went to Carrefour to buy groceries as well as food for Fai n mi. My brother was going out so he told mi not to buy anything for him. Then I home cuz Fai was still at my place studying. We ate our food and after a while....... sleeping combo!! hahaha... so unhealthy habbit of mine. I have this tendency to get realli sleepi especially after I eat a lot of rice. It's not so bad with noodles, but the rice always did it for mi. I went to lie down at first and Fai was still on my PC revising his stuff, but after a while, he came to lie down also. His intention was juz to lie down but turned out he dozed off too! hehehe lol... My place is a slumber place... kekeke

Newayz, hmm what else happened? Oh yesterday I went to work part time at my ex-company. hahaha.. finally yeah? I started at 9 am till finish, that was like 5.45pm? whuih, I clocked 7 hrs 45 min working yesterday. Good pocket money too! hehehe but kind of spent it abt an hr later cuz I went to have a poly frens gathering afterwards.

Met Min, KT, Joe, Alvin, Tony n David at Wheelock's NYDC. We were supposed to have this b'day celebration for Choon, but he went out of town in the end, so hmm we turned the supposedly birthday dinner to a simple dinner gathering amongst ourselves. I think they forgot KT's n my order cuz ours like never came until we called them again n asked them abt my order. So we ended up like spending the time there quite late. Afterwards they ordered desserts and I just picked a lil here n there kekeke... Joe's dessert's particularly to my liking. I shall order that next time hehehe but for a dessert....... hmmmm almost $10 for that... kindda too expensive for mi lei... hehehe

Then we got David n Alvin to go over to Shaw to order movie tickets cuz I think it's always the case to end the gathering with a movie yea? hehe 1st choice was Ms Congeniality 2 and second choice is Hostage. None of us wanted to watch Sponge Bob but we had fun teasing David that it's his fav show, which isn't hahaha... he's grown up now, we all agreed hehe...

We were abt to leave when SL juz came and ordered stuff to eat. The queue outside was quite long liao and he's the only one left eating while the rest 7 of us was just a the table talking. Feel quite bad cuz the customers outside was like throwing daggers with their eyez *lol* not our fault also ma.. they forgot our main dish order and now the situation is like that. If they have given us our orders on time, we wud have finished much earlier too n wud be out of there sooner. Newayz we got to a compromise with the staff there cuz the cuztomerz outside was complaining that we are taking too much space. So we squeezed into a table for 4 and looked at SL eating his dinner while we are teasing him that later drinks and popcorns are on him when we watch movies hehehe... It was sort of a joke la, but i guess he took it seriously cuz he realli bought this super large popcorn for us later *lol*

Ms Congeniality 2 is not bad la... After watching Ms Congeliaty 1, the sequel is nothing new already, but it's still a good entertainment to watch. There was this part on her getting dumped over thru the phone. And it just struck to mi as to how we take relationships too easily and breaking up does not need to be done face to face like the olden times where I think the other party deserves that much respect. It's simply so callous saying the "stuff" to someone who u use to care soooo much abt and dismiss him/her out of ur life thru the phone, or email, or worst.. juz an sms. Isn't it ironic? The person who used to care so much abt u to disregard u just like a stranger? Like u're not even worth the trouble meeting to clear it up. Stupid how we use to care abt them huh? hmmm Not that Fai is breaking up with mi, I am just reminiscing abt the past a lil bit... I am not entirely off the hook either cuz I've done the "chicken way out" myself.. dang... I ought to shoot myself in the head too.

What the hell.. why am I talking about this in the first place? Mebbe writing too much liao..... arhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh dun wan to write liao. Enuff for today =P

The Eye 10 iz worth watching!!

Juz got back from PS with dear. We watched The Eye 10 at 8.50pm. Lucky yesterday I booked it earlier and got quite good seats (J Row), cuz juz now when I went to take my tickets at the counter, they were announcing that The Eye 10 for several time slots only left single seats!!! Phewz hehe

Lady boss called mi this afternoon asking mi whether I can come down n help or not after my work cuz she say that the Architect is down and may need my help to finish up the evening batch. I say nO pRoBlEmO man hehehe.. Another lucky thing cuz i booked my show at 8.50pm n not the earlier slot, cuz if I did I wudn't be able to work part time juz now eh? =D

My mom sms mi from Jkt telling mi that I can withdraw money from my supp card to replace the money I spent to buy my text books plus some extra for myself hee... feel kindda guilty cuz at my age, I shud be the one giving my parents money =P but they dun wan to take lei? The only thing that I can "trick" them into accepting is when I go n treat them to dinner, and not always they allow mi to pay also cuz my dad wun allow. Not that I wanna be a spoilt brat hor...

Yah! Talking abt The Eye 10. Very nice loh hehehe cUz got the scarry factor plus the hilarious parts. And the funny parts are not those like from some movie when it's supposed to be scary but turn out to be funny to us, u know that kind of horror flicks? hehe Dear juz came up to my side n when he saw my msn nick is "The Eye 10 worth watching!! hehe" He screamed n say, " I wan to jump down arhhh..." hahahahhahahahahahha He was asking why is my window locked cuz he wan to jump down hahahahhaa... I guess my taste in movies is a lil different from his hehehe.. His fav movie so far is "All About Lily Chou-Chou", a Japanese movie hehehe He find this The Eye 10 movie is like those "I Know WhatYou Did Last Summer" kind of movies. In short, Teen Flicks. hahaha... I told him no no... it's not juz "I Know What You Did Last Summer", it's in fact "I Know What You Did Last Summer in Hong Kong"!! *lol* Dear added, "And Thailand"! hahaha... cuz The Eye 10 was shot in Hong Kong n Thailand loh =)

I juz spent a stupid $31 on a lousy haircut!! aRghhh

Arghhh blame myself for trying to save money. I juz spent a stupid $31 on a lousy haircut!! After work I walked across Novena Square to this Supercuts Hair Salon there, and I tot that since it's not in a shopping centre anyway and considering it's juz Supercuts, I tot hey the haircut shud be cheaper huh? *bUzzEr souNd* WrOnG!!

The hairdresser pressed mi to do this hair treatment and this new method of re-bonding over n over again. I dunno how many times I told her, "No thank u, I juz wan to hav a haircut." Duh... how much clearer can I get? I mean, I understand that they have to promote their stuff but I think the promoting shud stop once the customer said no ma?? Walao... keep on saying my hair wud be verrrrryYYYyyy meSSy n fRizzY. I know my hair is slightly wavy n can be messy at times la, but if u keep on putting those fingers of yours and jumbling my hair over n out OF COURSE it wud be verrrrrrrrrryYYYyyy meSSy. Dumb sia....... stewpid.......

Neway once I was out of there, that is the LAST time I'm ever going to step into that place again man... Sheeshhh for slightly more I can have a much more worthwhile haircut at Kimage or Monsoon. Arrghhhhhhhhh See See... Now see my hair, not even 1 hr, the ends curl up liao... what kind of hairstylist is that? hMmm maybe i'm very harsh hehehe but I'm pek cek maaaaaa... Everytime I go Kimage or Monsoon, after they blowdry my hair huh, they remain very straight till the next day or even the day after!! That's how good the stylist are at those places. I think next time I'll juz stick to my usual Salons.. =P

Tdy I went lunch with Janice n Soon Lee at Long John at Novena Square. I had the Chicken wrap <-- not bad hehe. We were talking abt face products and stuff. Abt moisturisers and masks like SKII and Neutrogena n stuff. Got 1 colleague actually use SKII mask regularly!! wow!! Must be damn loaded siah!! U know how eXpEnsIvE SKII mask can be?? She's a nuskin promoter so naturally she's wearing all nuskin products hehehe... Asked mi whether I wanna buy a few days ago, but hmm my own brother n aunty is also a nuskin promoter lei hehe..

Then we mention abt age. They still can't believe that I'm going to be 25 yrs old this yr hehehe cuz i look much younger than them, Janice's 22 and Soon Lee's 23 this year. I was telling them that I dunno whether it's a curse or blessing to mi wahaha.... Janice said that maybe for now I may think that it's a curse but next time say 10 yrs down the road, it may be a blessing to mi. *lol* Oh well.... I guess I'm stuck with mi for the time being, muz learn how to love miself hehehe

I did some Clerical Training juz now from 3.30pm till 5.30pm. But on n off I still go back n help the CP area, cuz Sebastian ask Noorini to "share" mi *lol* I guess not enuff ppl at CP. N to be wanted in 2 areas at the same time is not actually bad hahaha... Feelin good cuz I'm needed ma *lol* Tomorrow I'll be having another Clerical Training. N tomorrow's my last day of work for the week!!! hahahaha I'm having a veriiiiiiiiiiiiii long weekend siahhh *yaYYYyyyy* But on Saturday Lady Boss ask mi to come to work part-time at ex-company. hehe eXtra mOneYYY kekekeke yeAhh!!

Hmm what got into me today?

Well.. this morning I was not that energetic as yesterday, but still I guess it's because I didn't have any coffee before I go work. hehe.. Trying to cut down on my cafeine here.

Aniwae, dunno what got into me today. Or perhaps it was from yesterday. Yesterday, I actually went n do my laundry! On a MONDAY! hahahha... And after work today, I actually felt like cooking something. Sms-ed dear if he's coming over later or not, if he is then I'm going to whip up a pasta. But he said that he'll be coming over but eating at his home. Oh well, I did my shopping already. Bought some veggies like lettuce n carrot n cucumber, salad dressing, tomato sauce and raw chicken. So i tot of making a chicken salad for myself hehe... =)

So I when I reached home, I took down the laundry hanging in the kitchen, cleaned the veggies and arranged them nicely in a plate. Cut the carrot n boiled 'em for a while. Marinated the chicken and stir fry them hehehe. Healthy is the key! *lol* Been eating too much of good food when my mom is here =) Dear arrived n played his Winning Eleven 8 while I ironed the clothes. Now he's snoring on my bed liao... hehehe must be pretty tired at work today.

I guess having my mom here is like pushing the "reset" button hehehe I think I mentioned sumthing abt resetting stuff yesterday. hehz.. When she's here, the house wud be whew!~~ Clean n neat n simply great! N I tot perhaps that if I do things little by little, I would be able to maintain my place as if she's here. hehe... Let's see if I can keep things like this. I finished everything by 7.30pm juz now. Well... when I think abt it, doesn't really need much time to keep the house clean yah? Take say....... 1 to 1.5 hrs everyday to cook, wash dishes and do laundry. Everything wud be juzzzzz fine.

Today was super duper busy!! Mondayzzz oh boy.... we were swamped with samples!! But... the strange thing is that.. I LOVE iT!! I was not stressed or unhappy or sulking, I was there happily doing my work, hopping here n there to send samples, labelling them like it's the most enjoyable thing in the world!! hahaha... I must be madd!! Must be my unstable hormones *lol* But I was surprisingly very energetic today hmm hehehe Tess say told the new guy at our section to be like me, cuz I can multi-task and I'm still a newbie also =P *blush blush* awwwwwwwwww neway, I survived today and went to Orchard to go for my Molecular Micro Lecture =)

I juz watched Desperate Housewives! Hmm was juz thinking abt Lynette n her problem with coping with the stress her children is giving n her medicine problem. It shows how... like everyone of us has the same problems and most of us juz dun wanna show it. We hide our problems and tell ppl that we are doing fine and stuff.. when we are really barely coping with our lifes.

How many times in your life that u wish you could just push that "reset" button like how u reset ur PC? Or how u wish that u can just stick a memory stick up in ur head according to "subjects" like.... "Cooking", "Housewife", "Mathematics", "Science" <-- hahaha dun need to worry abt memory overload =P

I pass my Sem 1 modules!! Yeah!! hahahaha I will get the result slip by mail so I heard from my friends. hMmm Lucky i didn't fail... shuckz.. dun wanna repeat the module siahhh........... This week only 1 lesson, that is today. Next week is Semester Break!! No more lesson till then hahahahhaa........ Opzzz still need to revise hor bleah =P tataaaa

Whopz it's Friday again huh? hehehe I dined my mom juz now at Crystal Jade in PS =P Oh well... since she's flying off on Sunday, I was tinking of giving her a simple treat before she's gone.

Did a bit of shopping at Watson's too cuz my shampoo ran out and was looking for a sunblock-cum-moisturiser. Well I was quite confused whether to get Olay's Total Effects or Loreal's RevitaLift. Both ard the same price too, sum more Watson's having 20% off loh.. hmmm Decided to get on Loreal *ahem* not becuz my face has gone saggy liao =P bleah hehehe Juz becuz Loreal has SPF18 protection while Total Effects only SPF15 n there's juz sumthing abt these Western products that makes u tink that it's better than asian products. Actually that doesn't realli matter as well cuz this Loreal is made in Indonesia and Total Effects is made in Thailand. So what's the diff??? Mentality mann hehehe it's all in the mindddd kekekekeke

Newayz, I also got this Neutrogena's Fine Fairness Deep Whitening Mask for only $1.99!! All u have to do is spend $17 at Watson's n u can buy it for $1.99 hehehe... Now hmmm zhuo bo loh.. shud start my revision also hmmm dun feel like starting yet though hehe... Lemme try out my RevitaLift first kekekeke

I got a compliment from Tess today *lol* wow... my first compliment from her wahahaha... She says that I have a very good attitude towards work =P For once, I dun feel like I'm a stewpid Jr Med Tech *lol* At least some ppl notice sumting =P

Hmm I tink I have slacked for a few days in my studies. Hmmm Think I have to go n revise again tonite n dun break the cycle.

I will be trained in Blood Bank Section startin next month!! yayyyyyyyyy No more Central Processing for the time being =D happi happi happiiiii... I hope I can learn things there fast cuz being in that section has a lot of responsibilities... imagine if I did something wrong... give the wrong blood to a critical patient and gasp..... But they always have 2 other ppl to counter check results, so I tink shud be ok huh? hope so.

I watched this Korean show titled "My Little Bride" yesterday. Very funny lei!! This 16 yr old highschool girl is tricked by her "dying" grandfather to marry this guy. This guy is the grandson of his old arny friend and they had made a promise to marry their offspring. So her grandfather sort of tricked her by acting that he's dying n made her promise that she will marry. Then their adventure begins. Very entertaining!! I was quite skeptical at first, but as the show progress I changed my mind kekeke

Strange dream..

I have this weird dream this mornin. There was Jesslyn n Stella in my dream. Well having Jesslyn in my dream is not that unusual cuz i juz met her like 2 weeks ago on her last stop over in sg. But having Stella in my dream as well is... quite bothering. Not in a bad sense but it worries me, like as if something has happened.

In this dream, there was this building like a tall HDB and supposedly each of us has a separate unit. Then suddenly the whole HDB juz blacked out n it was realllyyyy eerie. The whole HDB blacked out... except for Stella's unit <-- funny huh? Then all 3 of us juz arrived home, and both Jesslyn n I were scared to go back to our own units; so we decided to stay over at Stella's place. N.. I can't remember anything else after that. I wonder what this dream signify. The last time I saw Stella was like... in 1998 during our Secondary School Graduation day. After that she went to US to study and we sort of lost contact. I hope she's fine...

IT show 2005

Hmm I juz got a $99 Philips DVD burner from IT Show at Suntec. Really cheap lei!! At first we were wondering how come so cheap n no ppl are grabbing it like last year when TDK DVD burner was going for $149? Fai said that there must be something wrong with it, I say well.. no harm trying, there's warranty also if there's something wrong wif it.

So juz now dear fixed it and first time running.... we got what he called "The Blue Screen Of Death" <-- I have no idea what this is, but sumthing with Death in it is definitely nOt good yeah? I belief some of u who are familiar with IT stuff know this phenomena =P I was like er... uh Oh.. thinking dang... shudn't have bought it!! Shud have bought the DVD burner (I think Samsung) next to it selling for $135 with the same specs.

Neway, we restarted my PC n it was Ok... Tried installing the Nero OEM and well... PC hanged once. The next time we tried installing it, it was ok. Tried burning a movie into it, seemed to be ok also. Hmmm I hope there's nothing wrong wif it though. Dun wanna go to Sim Lim to fix it. Neh... so troublesome =P

Yah! Do u know how DuStY ur tower can be??? Gosh! I had this PC for less than a year and the amt of dust collected at the fans are wOw!! So I cleaned as well as I could juz now while dear was fixing in the DVD burner.

IT show... phew..... so crowded n stuffy!! After that, sooo many ppl queueing for taxi, so many ppl waiting for bus but the bus never came, I suppose becuz of the jam at Dhobby Ghaut side. We waited quite a long time for our bus, until we decided to just walk to the City Link Mall n take MRT instead. Next IT show worth going? Perhaps, if u have something to buy n waiting for a great deal =)

I missed our Anniversary!!

Gee.. how could I have missed our Anniversary!! It was our 1 yr 8 month Anniversary on 8th March!! Remember the 38's Day? Gosh... stupid me! I remembered it suddenly yesterday while we were at Taka's Seoul Garden to celebrate My Bro's 26th bday. I told dear then that we missed our Anniversary! And he told me that he was waiting for mi to wish him Happy Anniversary on 8th March, but since I didn't say he didn't wish me also.. *frown*

He always does this! Dun lyke uu... Why can't u say it to mi first? If I forget then u shud remind mi ma........... Happi belated Anniversary darling! *muach* Sorry I forgot =O

Neway, today's quite wasted.. I planned to go n revise my 6 topics on MG2 but guess what... I woke up at 10.30am, bathed n ate breakfast.. chatted with dear on msn when suddenly i felt sleepi all over agian so I slept again till 2.30!! eeekzzz

I dyed my dad's hair yesterday hehe DIY, bought the Loreal hair dye from Carefour and yesterday night onwards my dad's hair is transformed to black again *lol* well actually not really black, cuz i chose dark brown for him.

Juz now we just sent my dad off to the airport, but my mom's still here till 20th March. Still, I am positively absolutely sure that she'll extend till 1 month =P Then after that we went to Parco Bugis Junction to buy some groceries at Cold Storage. Halfway I had a bout of stomach aches and hurried my mom to finish shopping so we can head home right away. While my brother n her are paying for the groceries, I told them that I'll head right up and queue at the taxi stand so that we can cut the queue time.

I was rEaLLy nearing the first in line, I was the 4th in queue liao... then u know what........ my brother called me. He was juz standing like maybe 10 m away then told me to not queue liao cuz they called for a cab........ I was like........ what the......... u make mi queue till the 4th in line and now u telling me u have called for a cab........????? Wa lao lei..... Ok so fine, I walked out from the queue and go over to their side, waited like 10 min but the taxi haven't come.. I told myself... fine. Nevermind the fact that the person behind me queing up juz now has already boarded his taxi like a long time ago liao. I controled myself and waited patiently.

The thing that made me sooooo pek cek is that the taxi that's supposed to come n pick us up at the taxi stand DID NOT EVEN STOP at the taxi stand!!! He drive straight on... I was like..... what the.......... Ok so we called the operator asking why did the taxi didn't stop at the taxi stand like he was supposed to in the first place. The operator contacted the driver and the driver called us up and bla bla bla...

Abt 10 min later, the damned bloody taxi arrived. My stomach ache was gone wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy before liao, I'm just too angry to be bothered with it. Do u know what he said?? He said that he was not sure that we are at the taxi stand so he went to drive off n wait at the carpark opposite to call us to confirm our position.... Oh My God......... It's not like this On-Call for taxi has been implemented recently. I was damned pissed off, but of course I still put on my smily face but I juz kept quiet cuz I know if I talk I will let my pissed tone out. So my brother n mom asked him as to why he drove past us in the first place bla bla bla... Gosh....... Stupid stupid stupid.

Newayz, today is 2nd lecture hehe not too bad, I am getting the hand of it. I pointed out 1 minor mistake in the notez today hahaha happie happie, means I'm paying attention =P. Tomorrow's another lecture though, can't join my parents to celebrate my aunt's birthday dinner. =(

First Lecture!! Molecular Genetics 2!!

Aaaahhhh after 3 weeks break, well I was quite geared up to having my first lecture! hehe The lecture was.... hmm slow moving, cuz the guy kept wondering off topic sometimes. hehe He keeps giving analogies to sheep *lol* He has this passion on sheep, even his Phd he got it based on 1 protein purification obtained from sheep kekekeke

Well, he's not so bad, jokes quite often with us =) The class now oni have 2 guys in the midst of.... i tink abt 20 girls!! wowwww Must be heaven hehehehe =D Furthermore, the 1 guy has gone for the Australia trip a few months ago, so considering there are no more guy intakes, the other guy will be the ONLY guy going to the Australia trip with us girls!!!

Neway, I have the basic outline of the Molecular Genetics 2 course, the assignments *bleah* and the project *double bleah* and the textbook is $201!!!! *tripple bleah!!!* What the heck! So bloody expensive leh!! I going to borrow from Choon hehe if cannot then I go photostat liao =P

Tomorrow I'll be having another lecture, same goes for the day after tomorrow. 3 days lecture in a row siah............. better rest now =) ta taaaa

A day of sleeping in and shopping out

I woke up at 9 am today <-- eArLy yah???? hahahhahaa Considering it's Sunday! Well... I woke up that earli cuz i needed to pee badly hahaha but after that I bathed, eat breakfast and linger for a while before i got sleepi once again and slept till 12 plus lol... My dear's sms woke me up then

I got my dear's lvoely message yesterday, probably inspired by Hitch lol... He sms mi sayin," If there is one person tat makes me fly.... Tat person is u...." I was like.... aw................ u are so sweet darling! muach!

Today I took my parents to eat at Tong Chiang Claypot Rice. Wa lao... got 1 stupid woman down there tot I am a waitress and called mi xiao jie and ask mi can get her spoon or not. I did a double take and like stared at her, and she had the cheek to repeat her question!!! I told shook my head and gestured that I'm not working here and she said sorry profusely. Oh man... how dumb can she be... I am not even wearing the Tong Qiang Claypot uniform. Geezz... I was wearing jeans n a shirt. Stupid woman.. I told my dear n he told mi that I shud have asked her " Which part of me looks like a waitress to a blind woman like u?" *lol* a lil bit harsh n sarcastic hahaha... but it cheered mi up a lil. =)

Aniwae my parents n I literally ate until we were abt to burst!! So damn full! So we decided to walk walk after that, we took the MRT to Dhoby Ghaut and went shopping at Plaza Singapura hehehe... My dad bought 1 t-shirt and other stuff. I got myself a new pair of slip-on shoes for work and 2 t-shirts! hehehehe show u the shoes later..

Then we went to Carefour to shop shop also... bought mi a bolster lol... hehe after that took a taxi n headed home. Now here I am. I guess I better take a bathe first. ta taaaa

We celebrated my dad's 48th bday yesterday =) I bought him a cake from Angie's Choice and then we went to Cafe Cartel to celebrate. It took them like 40 min to find a table for 8 of us. yeapz 8 of uz.. my family and my aunt's family. I didn't have time to enjoy my food actually.. the food came at 8.30pm and I have booked tickets to see Hitch at 8.40pm. So when the food arrived, I literally have to gobble everything down and rush up to 7th floor to meet dear n go into our cinema. I wud have loved to stay at Cartel longer juz to talk n enjoy family dinner, but hmmm i shud have booked a later slot for the show.. but I didn't think that we wud get our seats so late!! haiz... I tot we wud start our dinner at 7pm and wud have had ample time to enjoy family dinner. bleah... next time maybe =)

I watched Hitch starring Will Smith yesterday with dear at PS. It tells us that sometimes love needs opportunity to work. A lil nudge to get love moving in motion. Don't u tink that's true? I mean for my case with Fai.. internet gave us the opportunity to meet n get to know eachother better.

N it's trough the virtual world that we found vast similarities as well as differences and to know that crucial thing..... to see whether we clicked or not. Considering my nature in real life, would I have the courage to know a stranger in depth as I would have known Fai? Hell no! I wud be too shy to even carry a polite conversation to a friendlier banter. Maybe after sometime I would be able to, but life doesn't give us such opportunities often eh? It's like, realistically, in this world i tink 1st impressions wud define the course of nature more. Juz take it as 1st interviews, u either make it or make a blunder of urselves even before u actually have the interview.

I am not embarrassed to have met my loved one through the internet. Give or take. Give up ur chance to meet the potential love interest or take the risk and get a chance to meet that wonderful someone. =) Which is it? Opportunities come in all sort of ways.. could even juz that "Hi" you exchanged with someone on the street, workplace, neighbour or in the lift maybe? =P It's up to u to choose to carry out the conversation to the next level or juz end it with a "bye" and a smile.

Life is so full of choices, fate comes to u everyday and let u choose the path u want to take. =)

Taking the "F" out of Freedom!

heh! I juz watched "Team America" last nite with dear at PS. It's sort of a puppet show with the theme of saving the world from weapons of mass destruction. Hmm not the type of movies that I usually watched but it was entertaining hahaha so darn farnee, no wonder it's for 18 yrs old n above! There's this part abt 2 of the main character Gary n Lisa getting to..... "know each other better" hahahahaha

Neway, the title of my blog is not wrong. I know it's supposed to be Taking the "F" back into Freedom, but tonite my parents will be arriving in Sg =P hehe so back to goodie ol' mi. Plus my dad will be here, so there'll be no late nites outside for mi bleah hehehehe.. Soon I'll be having home cooked food, or maybe I can even bring home cooked food for lunch! haha... geez there goes my diet for sure. Juz when I tot my weight has gone back to normal after the christmas-CNY-Valentine days combo. My weight shoot up 2 - 3 kg during those time!! wa lao! Now back to 44.5 kg har har har so happi... but dear teased mi that with my mom here, sure wun see my weight near that range hmmmmmmmmmm I wonder how I shud plan my meals... *tinking*

I have done the safe keeping of my diaries n forbidden stuff that u dun wanna let ur parents see inside my locker hahahaha Safest place of all =P I hope I dun miss anithing out, cuz my mom has this tendency to rummage thru my stuff to keep them neat. It's actually a very good thing, but when she finds something "funny" u might need to cook up a reliable story no matter how outrageous it may seem FAST! =P

My 2nd semester wud be starting very soon now, I'll be having my first class for the semester next Monday. sianz... now I must discipline myself to make notes n to revise after every damned lesson I got thru.. slogging near the exam days isn't really much fun u know. Speaking of which... I wonder how my result goes... no news abt it hmmmmmmmmmmm

I came across my diary from when I was still in sec 3.. haha... damn funny, cuz after reading some pages, I juz can't realise how much dUmbEr I was then =P I guess those brought back some memories.. We learn from our mistakes n hopefully makes us wiser

Have been contemplating whether to throw my old diaries into the rubbish chute or not, cuz dun realli want it to go to the wrong hands hehehe =D My parents are coming this Friday! hMmm mebbe I'll hide my diaries inside my work locker first for save keeping hahaha

Oh ya! I got my access card liao!! Wheeeeeeeeeee I can go into the lab by the back door now. No need to go in by the main door at the reception area alreadi, so paiseh every mornin have to go thru there u know =P

Life at new work place

hmm i could say that life's much better here in my work place, other than a few people that I'd try to avoid confronting. There'll always be the nice ppl and the... not so nice ppl. This applies whether in school, work or neighbourhood.

Relatively I should say that I'm still quite new. By tomorrow, I'll be working there for 2 weeks already. Most of the stuff in CP I would have known already except for the send out tests and Biochem labelling that I blunder occasionally.

There are these few ppl that gives me the irritated face when I ask them things which I am not sure of. It's like.. they expect me to know already. I am like heloo.. I'm still quite new here, of course there will be still be things that I don't know or things that I am not sure of. Haiz.. so most of the time I juz avoid asking these ppl. I don't want to be a bother and I really hope I can learn all the things in CP so I can be independent there. Most of the ppl there are nice though, they really explain as to why we do things a certain way.

On my way home today, Soon Lee asked me how's life at CP. And I told him that sometimes I juz kena scolding till I sian liao.. Then he asked me is it because of this certain "lao jiao" there. Then I told him ya lo... Cuz juz now he was there also when she f****d me. Wa lao.. it's like the things she say is very contradicting loh... We have pneumatic tubes whereby the wards or clinics send their specimen in a tube and it will be sent to our lab automatically. One morning, I was at CP and there were a lot of empty tubes to be sent back to the clinics. I loaded them and waited for them to be sent (it takes quite a while sometimes). Then in the mean time, I label my samples loh? Then she came and then scold me liao.. say "why got so many tubes never send back to clinic?? Later if the clinics will call us why never send the tubes back to them." I told her that juz now the tubes were all full mah.. THen juz now when I was finishing work, I cleared the empty tubes by sending them back to the ward. Then she scold me, "Why go n send all the tubes? Later clinic call us to send them tubes we dun have tubes to send to them how?" duh... what the heck does she wants?

Then today there were a few urgent FBC samples that are labelled liao, then Soon Lee ask mi to pass to him, then when I take the rack to pass to him, she scold mi say, "Why go n take so fast?!" I told her Soon Lee wants it ma... Then She finish labelling the speciments then ask mi, "Na bian you mei you ren?" I reply, "Got loh, Soon Lee there ma?" Soon Lee was juz in front of us. Then she scold me say, "Wo shi wen ni na bian desk you mei you clerk??" I was like.... "?????" Then u shud be more specific in asking mi ma... na bian you mei you ren... Soon Lee ye shi ren ma... aiyo... Soon Lee also ask mi, " I not a person meh? " hahaha... I think she's famous in F*****g ppl liao esp the xin jiao ones.. Soon Lee say the Haemato ppl friendlier. Ya lo.... lucky in in Haemato phew.........

Dun wan to think liao =P At least it's better than Innovative hahahahhaa =P
