CAP Accreditation Day

Yepz, today is my lab's CAP Accreditation day. CAP stands for "College of American Pathologists". The goal of the CAP Laboratory Accreditation Program is to improve the quality of clinical laboratory services through voluntary participation, professional peer review, education, and compliance with established performance standards. Upon successful completion of the inspection process, the laboratory is awarded CAP accreditation and becomes part of an exclusive group of more than 6,000 laboratories worldwide that have met the highest standards of excellence.

So at the end of the day, if your lab is CAP accredited, this ensures the public that your lab has utmost confidence in meeting the highest standards of practice which includes high quality patient care.

That put a lot of pressure on the supervisors as well as the head of the departments cuz if we fail this CAP whew....... there's going to be hell for sure! Anyway, I managed to 'siam' the auditors cuz they juz love to ask questions, especially to the newbies hehe... I think we did pretty good today, but there will be unannounced spot-checks by them again in the near future, I hope then we are still ready for them =)

Oh yah, LV sales person called me yesterday saying that there is a new collection that has just arrived and asked me when I can come down to their shop at Taka to take a look. Hmm frankly speaking, I am surprised to receive their call cuz it's the first time ever that they called. The very first LV item that I bought there is this pi leather wallet for my ex-bf. Kind of too lavish huh? But I tink its quite the appropriate gift since he also gave me an exact wallet for my last birthday that time. I asked Fai to come along with me and see see this weekend. I dun tink I will buy anything though cuz the prices there are too ridiculous... well if u equate the prices to quality, then LVs are worth buying cuz my wallet that I got from almost 4 yrs ago is still brand new looking and I still use it everyday..... unless of course that 'someone' buys me a new wallet *hint hint* hehehehhehehehehe

I wasted a lot of time juz now. Went to Orchard Popular to look for compatible ink catridges for my printer but Popular only has original one... sucky!! There's no way I'm going to buy an original ink catridges when I can have the same quality print-outs from a compatible one. =P And I was there to meet a buyer for the Maybelline pressed powder which I sold thru Yahoo! Auctions. While waiting for her, I bought sumthing for dearie hehehe I hope he likes it... Then after I closed the deal with the buyer, I decided to head down to Mustafa Centre to hunt for my ink catridge.. hmm Kind of hesitated to go there alone, but I need to buy the ink loh... So juz braved myself and head there. 30 min there was fruitless.......... cuz........ they only have oRiGiNaLs as well...........~~ arrhhhhhhhhhhhhhh waste my time *sobs* Mebbe tomorrow I shall head down straight to funan then... but kind of sian.... so far....... *frown* I guess that's the plan for now unless something better comes up...
